The Stones are back to celebrate their 50th anniversary! There will be some big arena shows, maybe a festival, and of course, a brand new single – “Doom And Gloom”. There’s no two ways about it, this is a MASSIVE improvement over “Rough Justice”. It’s not clever or ground breaking, but it is stomping rock anthem with a big riff, some sneaky licks, and Mick taking centre stage with a stampeding lyrical assault. Nothing incisive, just big retro-rock thrills. It should strike a chord with fans who just want to dance and forget the “Doom And Gloom” of the news reports.

What a week! New Stones! New Reznor! How to destroy angels_ are back with a new name (sort of) and a new EP. An omen_EP  will be out on the 13th November and you can listen to new single “Keep It Together Now”. It’s low key and deliciously bassy, everything you’d expect from Trent, Mariqueen and Atticus. Haunting but not necessarily overwrought, more doom disco.
