The Horrors’ ‘Skying’ Inspired By Ecstasy

Submitted by on August 4, 2011 – 1:23 pm | 182 views

The Horrors’ bassist Rhys Webb has spoken to NME stating that their most recent album Skying ‘was massively inspired by taking loads of pills, loads of ecstasy‘. He said that the album was there to make people ‘lose themselves’ and take them somewhere else.

The album is the third studio album by The Horrors, and was released last month, peaking at number 5 in the UK album charts.

The Horrors will be headlining the Festival Republic stage at Reading and Leeds Festival later this month.
