As you may have heard, Duffy, who has Asperger’s syndrome, who is on incapacity benefits and who lived a “miserable existence” drinking alcohol alone at his home in Reading has been arrested for trolling (Daily Mail)

The reason why we’re bringing this to your attention is that Sean Duffy was allegedly a member of the official Reading Festival forums for a number of years. In fact, the user known as Kemmel, won troll of the year awards each year the awards were run. Despite numerous attempts to get him banned, Festival Republic felt no reason to do so and thus we firmly believe he learnt his craft on the forums where he constantly used YouTube evidence to prove facts that only existed in his head.

For years we have been calling him a troll for his fascination of pissing people off with his blinkered views on music and football. Not at one point did we suspect he was such a massive fool but the evidence we have it compelling. Pictures from his Facebook clearly shows he has no neck, we know he’s a male over 20 that likes MCR and he supports Man Utd. We should have alerted the authorities sooner and for that, we can only apologise.

Strictly Our Opinion: We knew Sean Duffy was a bit strange but not to this level. The fact it’s his second time makes it all that much bizarre. As much as we don’t agree with what he did, to put him in prison is that bit too far. Many people will mention “Freedom of Speech” and rightly so but do we really need to clog up the prison system with trolls?

So what do you think? Should he have been arrested or should he have served the community instead and gave something back?

We must stress that we do not know for sure that Sean Duffy is the person behind Kemmel or Leocadius. However having the same name, same age, living in the same area, behaving in the same way and looking identical is too much of a coincidence for us. So whilst we are 100% sure, for legal reasons, we do have to say that Sean Duffy is allegedly Kemmel and Leocadius.

A man has been charged over a doctored “offensive image” on Facebook of a teenage girl who was shot dead, police have revealed.

Grampian Police said a 25-year-old man – who the BBC Scotland news website understands to be Sean Duffy, from the Reading area – had been charged.
