Two of the finest products of New York’s art scene, the Scissor Sisters and Azealia Banks, have joined forces on “Shady Love”; one those curious layered tracks that simply shouldn’t work, but slowly builds into something truly spell binding.
Azealia steals the show with a naggingly addictive bridge to a chorus that becomes less ridiculous and more enthralling with each passing listen. The video is also a triumph, the first ultra-stylish offering of 2012.
