Strictly Our Opinion: Unsurprisingly it’s another awesome video from Mastodon who’ve uncovered a sense of humour in recent years, but surprisingly this is a huge pop single. Don’t get me wrong, this is still metal, but this is hook driven, anthemic stuff, you know the type of track you don’t usually hear in an hour long Mastodon set. Could this be the first step in taking that all that critical good will and turning it into festival headlining success?
