New Music: LCD Soundsystem – “Live Alone”

Okay so don’t get your hopes up, James Murphy hasn’t reformed the majestically cynical LCD Soundsystem, instead one of the band’s special editions from Record Store Day has finally surfaced.
The new video is for the band’s depressively sexy cover of Franz Ferdinand’s “Live Alone”. It hardly needs to be said but it’s a great drawn out dance interpretation that flitters between hypnotic downbeat dance and Station To Station era Bowie at the drop of a hat.
