Brighton’s Architects, have announced via their Facebook page, that guitarist Tim Hillier-Brook has left the band. Hillier-Brook had been with the band since their formation in 2004, and he will be temporarily replaced by Sylosis‘ Josh Middleton.
The band, who opened the Main Stage at Reading & Leeds last year, announced in a statement:
“Tim has decided that its time for him to step away from Architects and pursue other projects. We all appreciate the work and commitment he has shown to the band over the past few years and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
They continued: “His final show will be Groezrock and no future shows will be affected by his departure. Our good friend Josh Middleton will be filling Tim’s vacancy on a temporary basis.”
They are currently touring with Rolo Tomassi, and are set to play some festivals, including Groezrock and Slam Dunk, over the summer.
