Muse & U2 Supergroup
Muse, this year’s Reading and Leeds Festival headliners, formed a super group with U2 to play a small bar in Brazil this week.
This new hybrid band ran through a string of classic covers from the Talking Head’s masterpiece “Psycho Killer” and David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance” to The Rolling Stones’ soulful groover “Miss You”.
Muse who are supporting U2 on the world tour have reportedly become good friends with Bono’s and his world straddling juggernaut. This is the second time the two bands have merged after The Edge joined Muse on stage at Glastonbury for a rendition of “Where The Streets Have No Name”.
Strictly Our Opinion: Will we see the two together at Reading and Leeds? No chance in hell. Is it a fun little story? Yeah, although I found the concept of Muse playing cricket with Lily Allen far more interesting.
