Glenn Beck Sets Sights On MCR
Conservative nut case (and that’s putting it mildly) Glenn Beck turned his attention to Glee during his latest scaremongering rant which quickly turned its attention to the lyrics of “Sing” by My Chemical Romance.
He facetiously labelled the track “brilliant’ before telling his audience that the track was “propaganda”, taking issue with the track’s anti-corperate, anti-commuerserism message, warning parents to “be vigilant”.
Beck was intentionally vague and seemed to either miss the point of the track, or appeared to be creating a storm in a tea cup, highlighting lyrics that are essentially urging the listener to find value and worth in more than just shallow commercial pursuits.
Rey Toro laughed off Beck’s taunts on twitter simply stating “Mission Accomplished”.
Strictly Our Opinion: Beck is a moron that pedals fear, “Sing” is one of the most cliche and tiresome tracks on MCR‘s otherwise enjoyable latest effort.
