Guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLonge has recently suggested that their new album will be diverse, including some songs that are ‘madly different and experimental.’ He added that although some of the songs will be ‘exactly what people would know of what Blink is’, there are also ‘songs that are like prog-rock Blink’.
Mark Hoppus also spoke of the reunion between the band, saying that it took them a while just to get back to normal after not being friends for years. Before recording and touring Hoppus said ‘it took a couple of months to kind of find that this is how it all works.’
The album ‘Neighbourhoods will be released on 26th September, and the band will be touring the UK next summer.
