The Defining Reading Moment: Pulling double duty for the first time, switching from brutal hardcore to heartfelt mariachi with ease.
The Los Angeles hardcore quintet have torn up the Lock Up stage on three occasions at Reading and Leeds festival. Their live shows, soaked in blood, sweat and beers, have gained them cult recognition within the Lock Up crowd, and they are always a must see act. Their output of straight-out hardcore rock n roll always brings in the mosh pits and crowd surfers, while vocalist Matt Caughtthran is regularly found in amongst the crowd.
Their Mariachi side-project, Mariachi el Bronx, has seen them grow an entirely different fan base, which has also seen them also play on the Main Stage and the Festival Republic stage, to a calmer and more mellow crowd. Quite simply, the band are so good, they can play two completely different sets to two different sets of fans, all on the same day. Siobhan Gallagher
