75. Limp Bizkit

21st Century Appearances: 2010 Main Stage, 2000 Main Stage

The Defining Reading Moment: Returning after ten years of turmoil and ridicule, and acting as if nothing had changed, rolling on stage with the cocky bravado of old.

A lot of old school Reading/Leeds fans have become disillusioned with the bands that perform at the festival these days. Not in the case of Limp Bizkit. The band returned to the festival in 2010 and went down just as well as they would’ve done during their previous appearances in 2000. Many people grew up on tracks such as ‘Rollin’ , ‘Break Stuff’ and ‘Nookie’ which has helped Limp Bizkit stand the test of time for veteran festival goers. Despite performing on the same stage as Weezer and Cypress Hill, there was no way Limp Bizkit would allow themselves to be overshadowed. Craig Brooks
